Finally I can reveal a secret which I have been hiding from my family. HAHs… A week ago when we went exploring around the campus, we ended up at the other end of the school campus and in a convenience stall there, we saw things which are pretty vintage, those old files and envelops and THEN a crazy idea came upon us-to write a letter home. And that we did.
The letter took longer then what we expected. The lady in the queue before us sent a parcel to Japan which is pretty near and the person at the post office said that it would take about a month for it to reach. T_T.. oh my… anyways the parcel weighed about 7 kg and it cost her 223 yuan… oh my…I had once considered the idea of sending the books which I bought in china back via parcel.. after hearing that, I decided that it isn’t such a good idea after all..
My mom gave me a surprise phone call just to let me know that the letter has arrived safely and she even nagged at me for spending 5+yuan on simply sending a letter back home and it was 1 week too late for mother’s day.(I tried to wish her happy mother’s day) HAHA.. oh well… it was a pretty fun experience because I tried to write the entire letter in Chinese, which was a pretty daunting task and boy did I encounter much difficulties. T_T… I had long forgotten almost everything which I have ever learnt about Chinese letter writing.. hahs…
Anyways it was really fun… =D
For this day, we had a design talk by a local lecturer who specializes in manual rendering. Really cool… how I wish I had classes on manual rendering...
